Welcome to my first blog on "A Beautiful Room", designs

by Lisa Hood.  I fulfilled a dream I had of owning an interior

design/home furnishings store for 13 years.  I enjoyed the

time spent at First Fruit Collection and all the wonderful

friends I made.  I especially loved designing beautiful 

rooms for so many clients over the years.  I gave up the

store in March of this year to help care for my mother

who is suffering from alzheimer's disease.  

I am passionate about interior design and enjoy creating

beautiful rooms more than anything else in the world.  I

still find time to create, design and make homes beautiful.  

I hope you will follow my blog and experience all the 

beautiful rooms in my life.  I think you will enjoy it as

much as I do.
